Pilgrim’s Pride Corp. is entitled to dismissal of a former employee’s lawsuit alleging it caused a subsequent employer to fire him and another potential employer to withdraw a job offer it had extended to him, the Eastern District of Texas ruled on a novel issue.
Clark Chandler said the company’s actions violated Texas Labor Code Section 52.031, which prohibits blacklisting.
