Sheriff's office investigator says cattle were sold at Kansas livestock exchange

FALLS CITY A Falls City man is scheduled for arraignment April 27 on charges of theft of cattle from his employer.

 

Court records say 35-year-old Jordan Marx is charged with taking cattle from pastures in Richardson County and selling them at the Holton Livestock Exchange in Kansas.

 

Charges filed in district court say nine head were stolen Nov. 3 and 10 head stolen on Dec. 1.

 

An arrest affidavit says Marx told investigators that he had purchased the cattle from his employer Brian Witt and kept them on a pasture near Rulo until they were sold. The affidavit...
