OSHA probes fall of worker at feed mill site

Iowa’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the near-fatal fall of an employee who was working for a Sioux City construction company building Tyson Foods’ feed mill on Expansion Boulevard.


Assistant Police Chief Patrick Diekman said officers responded to the feedmill site at 10:55 a.m. Friday, March 16 because “a male fell from the roof and was injured.” The man, whom Diekman declined to identify, was transported to BVRMC via ambulance for treatment.
