Farm Groups Ask USTR To Push European Union To Remove Tariffs

Americaís major agriculture, commodity groups and trade associations have sent a letter to the U.S. Trade Representative asking him to push the European Union to remove retaliatory tariffs recently placed on U.S. agricultural goods. Nebraska Farm Bureauís National Affairs Director Jordan Dux says the trade dispute has become political in nature and targets agriculture for a non agriculture issue.


He says the main dispute between the E.U. and the U.S. in this case involves Boeing aircraft and Europeís Air bus.


Dux says itís important to have a coalition of groups banding together to weigh in on these difficult trade issues...
