The daily spot Choice box beef cutout ended the week on Friday, June 19 at $213.72 which was $16.92 lower compared to previous Friday.  Last year it was $219.82 which was about $2 lower. The weekly total for the daily cutout was 972 loads which was about 13% of the weekly total loads sold.

The weekly average Choice cutout, which includes all types of sales, including the daily Choice cutout was $224.04. This was $26.01 lower.

The good news again this week was there were 7,606 total loads sold for the week. This was 11 loads higher than the previous week, so we've seen four solid weeks of good sales helped by exports, as well as out front sales.

The out-front sales, which get delivered after 21 days, were 1,822 loads which was 246 loads higher than last week.
