Sustainability and Climate Change Top Discussion at NCBA Convention

Sustainability, climate change and regulations topped the policy discussion at the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association convention last week. NCBA Vice President of Government Affairs Ethan Lane says their members want Congress to know they are doing a great job of producing beef with practices that benefit the climate.


He says another major focus area was labeling and what should be done with Product of the USA.


Lane says they’re proud of recent wins on regulatory reform. These include repeal of the 2015 Waters of the U.S. Rule and new WOTUS language. Plus, the rewrite of the National Environmental Policy Act. However, this is just a start...
