A truck pulling a cattle trailer rolled over in Hazelton Wednesday afternoon, killing several head of cattle and fatally wounding several more.
The driver, Trajan Jangula, 20, of Bismarck, was attempting to turn left from U.S. Highway 83 into a Cenex gas station in Hazelton when the weight of the cattle shifted, the North Dakota Highway Patrol said. The trailer was carrying approximately 72 head of cattle. A total of 13 cattle died, including some killed in the crash and others that were later euthanized due to their injuries, the Highway Patrol said.
