Trump Administration Sends USMCA Proposal to House Leaders

The Trump administration has sent a proposal on the USMCA to House Democratic Leaders. The proposal offers a fix to issues raised by the Democrats including labor, environmental and pharmaceutical concerns. Nebraska Farm Bureauís Director of National Affairs Jordan Dux says the administration is moving in the right direction with USMCA to get it ratified this year.


He says the USMCA has several positive components. It updates the old NAFTA and retains access for U.S. agricultural products.
