Visalia, California dairy farmer Tony Dragt was shot in the head on Tuesday afternoon. The fatal shooting outside the Pete Dragt and Sons Dairy is still under investigation, but the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department deputies told the Visalia Times that the shooting was the result of a labor dispute.

No arrests had been made and detectives were still searching for a motive.

“At this point our detectives are still trying to work out possible leads as to who the shooter is,” Sgt. Jesse Cox with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office said.

The accused killer, who is still on the run, and the farmer were arguing over money and then the worker pulled out a gun and fired at close range, deputies told the Visalia Times.
