Shopping your local Marsh Produce Department just got better. Effective immediately, the entire bulk apple and pear category in your local Marsh stores will be completely organic and certified by the United States Department of Agriculture.

Marsh will still offer our customers the widest selection of fresh apple and pears, including all of their favorite varieties. Even more, Marsh will offer our customers the added benefit of organic apples and pears at no extra cost to the customer. Organic apples and pears will be offered at conventional fruit retails.

Organic farming requires a thorough mastery of ecology and soil science. Modern organic farming techniques use environmentally friendly alternatives to the synthetic chemicals used in conventional agriculture. These methods allow us to grow healthful crops in concert with Mother Nature.
