AMS Modifies
Country-of-Origin Labeling Web Site

The Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) recently modified
its Country-of-Origin Labeling (COOL) Program’s Web site, www.ams.usda.gov/cool.
AMS added a link to the National Animal Identification
System (NAIS) homepage and two informational brochures with regulatory information
for retailers, consumers, producers and suppliers. The brochures are dated
To receive updates on new guidance documents, interested
parties may subscribe to the site’s new listserve. Subscribers will receive an email when a new
guidance document is posted or when an existing document is changed on the COOL
Web page.
