FSIS Adds Checklist on E. coli O157:H7 Control to
Directive 10,010.1

USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service will move an
important checklist on E. coli O157:H7 control in beef operations currently
contained in Notice 65-07 into Directive 10,010.01, Microbiological Testing
Program for Escherichia coli O157:H7 in Raw Ground Beef Products and Raw Ground
Beef Components and Beef Patty Components.
The checklist was set to expire November 1, so the agency is
incorporating the checklist into the directive.
