Safeway to expand use of PuriCore food-safety system

All Safeways in North America will have the PuriCore food-safety system Sterilox installed by the end of next year. The natural sanitizer uses salt, water and electricity to protect food products from infectious pathogens and organisms that cause spoilage, and to enhance the freshness of perishables.
