Tyson Pledges To Food Bank As Part Of RAGBRAI
Bike Riders Leave Harlan Monday

The company has pledged to the Nebraska Food Bank to deliver
more than 500 pounds per mile the cyclists ride, or more than 250,000 pounds of
food.
The food bank said the donations will bring more than 1
million meals to those who need food assistance in eastern
RAGBRAI left Harlan Monday morning. It is a 471-mile trek
and is the oldest touring bicycle ride in the world.
The course takes riders to Jefferson,
Thousands of people from across the country and the world
are taking part in this 36th year of the ride.
