Plant-based producer The Meatless Farm Co has launched two of its products into supermarket chain Co-op.
It is launching its 400g mince and two-packs of 227g fresh burger patties in 252 stores across the UK.
This new listing follows two successful nationwide launches, first into more than 600 Sainsbury’s stores in October 2018 and then into 466 Morrisons stores in April 2019. The brand has also launched into all Booths stores, further showing the truly nationwide demand for plant-based products.
Rob Woodall, CEO of The Meatless Farm Co, said: “We’re a British company that’s spent over two years creating plant-based products that really deliver on taste and texture, so whether you’re swapping out meat every so often or you’re veggie or vegan there’s a solution for you that tastes great and enables you to make your everyday family favourites without the sacrifice.
“We’re thrilled to have Co-op as a stockist, it’s so important British retailers are supporting British food brands and helping to champion ‘kind eating’ across the country.”
The Meatless Farm Co’s listing with Co-op will be supported by social media, PR and in-store activation such as tear off recipe barkers and security shroud covers.
