African Swine Fever continues to spread throughout Asia. Cases have now been identified in China, Mongolia, Vietnam, and Cambodia. According to the USDA’s Foreign Ag Service, the disease has spread quickly through Vietnam since it was first detected in February. In just over a month, the cases have been reported in 23 of 63 municipalities and provinces in Vietnam. African Swine Fever had mostly been detected on small-scale farm operations without proper biosecurity, but has since spread to large-scale operations, including a 4,500 head pig operation.
