OSI Group acquires Rose Packing

AURORA, ILL. — OSI Group said it has acquired Rose Packing Co., Inc., a Barrington, Ill.-based producer of pork products for the food service and retail industries. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

 

Established in 1924, Rose Packing operates a production facility in Chicago with more than 700 employees. The company’s products include Canadian bacon, hams, ethnic sausages, Guinness beer brats, breakfast sausages, meatballs, burgers, loins, chops, ribs, boneless turkey, pork shoulder, and pizza and salad toppings.

OSI Group has acquired Rose Packing Co. Inc., a well-established, premier U.S. producer of pork products for leading foodservice and retail customers.

 

Rose Packing is a fifth-generation, family owned and operated leader in the meat industry, has headquarters in Barrington, Ill., and operates a Chicago, Ill., production facility with more than 700 employees.
